A CLASSIC DEVIATION FROM USUAL CINEMATIC IDEATION

ONE needs sheer guts and conviction to invest money and time on such an unusual film like TUMBBAD that creates its own horror genre. From its first frame to last frame it keeps one's attention firmly gripped and won't let viewer's eyes stray off. Through out its viewing the watcher is well under an overwhelming feeling of wonder and admiration of this outstanding movie and remains under it for quite long even after leaving the theatre.

THERE are so many aspects of this movie that one can write about after watching this great piece of cinema like its well sketched characters, period ambiance of early nineties to 1947, visual effects, realistic look, background score that adds values to the movement of the film, technically sound and so on. Utterly mesmerizing is the word in every sense of a-near-perfect cinematic approach of the entire team to complete this film! One can fairly see the passions of every crew on board for the beautiful portrayal of myth on celluloid with utter conviction. Top to down the entire team deserves standing ovation for offering the audience what they have not experienced before.

EVERY film fraternity guy must go out and watch TUMBBAD to experience something new. A must watch for every person who admires cinema and its astounding beauty. All the actors in TUMBBAD look living characters of a believable world created by artistic means the team could imagine. It is worth every dime one spends on its ticket.

MENTIONING about its plot here would not be advisable and I am skipping it intentionally as I want the audience to watch, know about it and enjoy in theatres.

AN awesome product of a talented team with remarkable vfx, prosthetics, background score, photography, production designs, performances, script and direction. The mouth publicity will help take it to heights of fame and acclaim it deserves. You can't make such movie without sheer guts and conviction. The GOOD SCRIPT rules in the end.

Bravo!

GOLDEN PERIOD OF INDIAN CINEMA

#ManojKumar  #IndianFilmMakers

FILM MAKER MANOJ KUMAR HAD TO SELL HIS OFFICE

While the celebrated film maker, Manoj Kumar aka Harikishan Giri Goswami, known for directing and producing films with patriotic themes, was making epic historical drama KRANTI with huge star cast of that time, he had faced a tough situation and he did not know what to do to resolve it. I would like to underline it here that Dilip kumar was returning to films after almost a huge gap of five years.

During an important sequence wherein Manoj Kumar needed about 5000 people for filming it, it is said he did not have ample funds for the crowd payment. When he could not find any other option, he decided to sell off his office since the crowd was very important for the said sequence of the movie.

That was the kind of sheer passion of those film makers of golden period of Indian Cinema. They would not compromise with film making and settle for less. if they needed something, they would sacrifice anything even their own assets.
